Anthony Odell Smith was born May 29, 1969 to the union of Anthony and Inez Davis of Olustee, Florida and was raised by his paternal grandparents Odell and Mary Lee Davis of Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded in death his mother and father Anthony and Inez Davis, his paternal grandparents Odell and Mary Lee Davis, maternal grandparents Elease Smith, Junior Smith and his brother Tyrone L. Davis.

Anthony accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and was filled with the power of the Holy Ghost singing and shouting at an early age.
He attended Van Horn High School of Kansas City Missouri and graduated in 1989. He loved helping people, so he desired to do patient care, and went to the school of Nursing where he fulfilled his CAN position for several years.

He was a member at New Testament Pentecostal House of Prayer, on the Praise and Worship team, also Deacon and later ordained Minister. He also worked for the Kansas City Kansas School District as the Lead Maintence Custodial Attendant for 27 years until his health began to decline.

Brother Anthony Loved the Lord always signing, praising, shouting and willing to give the reasonable hope to whomever he came in contact with. When he saw the need of someone he would support if needed, he said he never meets a stranger. His saying was “You Know where you’ve been, but you don’t know where you are going, this world is not my home I’m just passing thru.” He was the one that kept the family together to this date that’s why he was called (PaPa).

He leaves to cherish his memories: brother(s) Patrick Davis (Felicia), Michael Davis (Kimberly) both of Lake City, Florida, sister(s) LeeAnn Quintana (Elias) of Jacksonville, Florida, Patricia Smith “Nute”, Markeeta Howard of Kansas City, Missouri, Evagelist Christine Guinyard of Lathrop, Atlanta, Aunt Zelda Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, and a host of close family and friends.
