Mr. LaMont Pinkney

LaMont Allen Pinkney, was born April 5, 1975 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Noel Pinkney and Ethel Smith. He was proceeded in transition by his father Noel and uncles Herbert Parker, Sr. and Shaun Thompson, grandparents LeRoy Smith Sr. and Evelyn Smith and paternal grandmother Allie Pinkney.

LaMont known as "Elmonteban", attended Fairview Elementary School in Independence, Missouri, he then attended Central Middle School and then graduated from Central Senior High School in Kansas City, Missouri. While in high school he was offered employment with the General Service Administration in Kansas City due to his class standing. He went on to attend Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri were he received his college diploma.

After college LaMont went on to work at the Juvenile Justice Center in Jackson County for sixteen years, until he began to experience medical issues which forced him into early retirement.

LaMont leaves to cherish with loving memories his mother Ethel Smith-Johnson of Kansas City, MO; brothers Gary Smith of the City, Nolan Pinkney(Calista) of St. Joseph, MO; Shuan Parker(Kimberly) Joliet, IL. and godbrother Darren Carter(Anita) and godsister Theresa Williams(Johnny) of Kansas City,KS; aunts Alice Parker and Patricia Thompson; his special cousins LaTrice Parker and Herbert Parker, Jr.(Traneisha); nieces Camilla Pinkney, Gabrielle Parker, Joy Parker, Edith and Emma Parker; nephews Ezekiel Smith, Savonne Pinkney, Malcolm and Marlin Williams, Sullivan Franklin Jr; uncles Muriel Pinkney, LeRoy Smith Jr; cousin Lauren Soloman, a host of relatives and many, many friends
