Miss Kotera Jordan

Miss Kotera Danay Jordan was born Oct. 20, 1984, to the parents of Marguerite Woods-Jordan and Sharkey Jordan in Kansas City MO. She transitioned from this earthly body on Sat. March 4, 2023. Her Paternal grandparents Dave and Emma Jordan, and her Uncle R. Antoine Woods and a host of other family members that precedes her in this transition.

Kotera enter this world a fighter...she's beaten and overcome so many obstacles that were placed on her before being introduced to society. She began her early education attending the UCP EDUCATIONAL Center continuing her education with the KCMSD. Becoming the Prom Queen her Junior and Senior year and graduating from R.J. Delano HS in 2005.

During her high school years, she worked at Delano in the work study program from her freshman - sophomore year, and in her junior- senior she worked for a program outside the school at The Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City.

Kotera really enjoyed her life! She enjoyed hanging with family, singing, dancing, bowling, Applebee's and McDonalds! She lived a life so beautiful; she touched many lives and with a strong sense of discernment, she embraced all who embraced her, one thing she didn't play about was her brothers, Kotera loved her brothers so very much and it showed with how much they loved and adored her!  And as most of my friends know "She'll take YO man!" lol

Kotera leaves to cherish her memory... her Mother Marguerite Woods-Jordan, Father and Stepmother Sharkey & Valerie Jordan, sister: Diane Nickens (Chris) brothers Miguel Woods, Matthew Jordan and Aaron Jordan, step-brother: Damon Carter, 6 nieces Ashante', Alanna, Jayla, Faith, Hope and Grace, 6 nephews...Jordan, Jayden, Zion, CJ, Matthew Jr. and Chance...Her Maternal Grandparents Mary Woods and Ronald Woods(Sandra), Great Uncle William "Bubbie" Perry(Shirley), Uncles: Maurice Woods(Tanya), Donald Woods, Aunts: Tina Brown (Eddie), Denise Woods and Bridget Woods, Her Paternal Uncle Billy Jordan, Aunts: Dorothy Micenhamer, Barbara Jordan and Joyce Jordan...Kotera also leaves to cherish her memory a host of cousins, honorary Aunts, Uncles and friends that are way too many to be mentioned by name but we are very grateful for the love and respect that you've shown our angel over the years...God Bless you all!
