Berice E. Shepard

Berice Elizabeth Shepherd; was born to the union of Sylvia Lee Robinson and Carl Emory Call in Kansas City, Missouri on March 14th.,1958. She was raised in the metropolitan Kansas City area by her mother and Gerald Kidd (aka Daddy Kidd), who both loved her deeply and precede her in transition as well as siblings Carl E. Call jr., Carolyn G. Carter, Terry E. Call, Angela L. Hardin, Christina L. Williams, William G. Jones and Sylvester L. Jones. Knowing she was just passing through this world. Berice, dediced her life to Christ a very early age being baptized and serving under the leadership of Pastor John F. Youlkum and ler redediced herself to Christ under the pastore of Pastor Richard Love of Mount Arar Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri. Berice tended Central High School, where she was one of the first female JROTC members and was the only female drill team leader, she went on to tend Penn Valley Community College where she obtained her General Equivalency Degree. In her early 20’s she started working in retail and thirty – five changed career and began working in Central Supply Research Medical Center until her retirement. She is also proceeded in transition by her first husband Orlando S. Barnes Sr, second husband Frank A. Shepherd and special friend Edward Fry. Berice leaves to cherish with loving memories her children Orlando S. Barnes Jr., Derice R. Winfield (Robert) and Tasha Shepherd (Marcus Lovelady); her sister Willinda Jones-Cladwell (William); cousin/sister Alesia Prince (Margaret); aunt’s Linda Foster and Florence Roland; bonus daughter Cytrika; eleven grandchildren, seven gre grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
